A Lawyer to a Happy Home Baker. How BROWNIFIED boosted to great heights in no time| Ishita, Founder
"Ishita is a law graduate from Panjab University Chandigarh. She is a writer and her blog community goes by the name of 'vodkaverses' on Instagram". She is a traveller and a public speaker. The zeal of trying something new and turning her passion for food and making others eat prompted her to start her own Home Bakery in June this year. While the world jostled with the pandemic, Ishita took to baking as a medium to spread a little happiness and joy in times of fear and uncertainty. The effects of the pandemic are slowly coming under control but Ishita's bakery start-up has boosted to great heights within just six months.
Ishita's through her Home Bakery that goes by the name of Browniefied has helped over 100 cakes and delivered more than 500 Batches of brownie boxes which are the signature offering from her menu, apart from a lot of other desserts.
When asked if she feels how the transition from a lawyer to a baker feels she says, "Personally, it makes me a happier person and professionally, it gives me a lot of peace. However, I took law not to take up as a profession but to use the legal knowledge for pro-bono work and to combat social issues which I shall continue to do through my NGO- SWAG Strong Women and Girls."
